This is Frederik Träuble. He is the keynote speaker at this year's Customer Day.
Frederik conducts research in the field of artificial intelligence at the European Laboratory for Learning and Intelligent Systems (ELLIS) in Tübingen. His main focus is on developing generative AI models that guarantee the reliability and robustness required in medical applications, for example.
Before joining ELLIS, Frederik was a PhD student in the research group of Prof. Bernhard Schölkopf (Director at the Max Planck Institute for Intelligent Systems and Leibniz Prize winner). Further research stays led him to Mila in Montreal with Prof. Yoshua Bengio (Turing Award winner for Deep Learning and Neural Networks). During his PhD, Frederik also worked as an AI researcher in international corporations such as AWS and GSK. Frederik studied physics at the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich and scientific computing at the University of Cambridge.
