PLM Connection 2026
The PLM Connection has come to a close, and we can look back on two intense, inspiring, and successful days of the event. Once again this year, the event was much more than just a conference for us. It served as a meeting place, a platform for knowledge, and a source of inspiration all at once.

DRWE Customer Day 2026
We invite you to rethink “change”: not as a neat, perfectly planned process—but as a conscious decision to break out of old patterns. As a willingness to take action before all the answers are in. And yes, also as an acceptance that mistakes, friction, and setbacks are part of any genuine transformation. Because that is exactly where progress happens.
Why PLM projects are painful
PLM projects are not purely an IT issue. They go to the heart of the company, affecting processes, data, responsibilities, and collaboration. Added to this are uncertainties regarding effort, discussions about resources and budgets, and the recurring question: “What exactly do we get out of this?”
This is exactly where you need a partner who knows the way. This is exactly where Dr. Wallner Engineering comes in.
Unclear expenses
Pain Point 1
It's often difficult to gauge at the outset exactly how much time, budget, and staff a PLM project will actually require
Resources & Budget
Pain Point 2
Who covers the costs, and who provides the resources? PLM projects involve multiple departments at the same time.
"What's in it for us? Specifically?"
Pain Point 3
The legitimate question every decision-maker asks—and the hardest one to answer when you lack the big picture
We provide the big picture, the roadmap, and guidance—from the initial assessment to implementation.
How can you turn your PLM environment into a fully functional system?
The key lies not in new tools, but in the right structure. When processes, data, and systems work together seamlessly, true productivity is achieved in day-to-day operations.
Consulting
Highlighting data and process gaps for greater clarity
The first step is to understand your current situation.
Where do friction losses occur? Which processes are holding us back? Where is potential going untapped?
Building on this, specific measures are defined that will have a direct impact on your PLM environment.
Design
Implement processes directly within the system
Optimized processes must be reflected in the system.
That is why your processes are implemented directly in Siemens DesignCenter NX – using real assemblies and with a focus on practical applications.
The result is robust models, clear structures, and streamlined development processes without any bottlenecks.
Support
Support during ongoing operations
In everyday life, questions, challenges, or sudden problems arise.
Fast and direct support ensures that your teams stay productive.
This ensures that your PLM environment remains reliable and usable over the long term.
Academy
Knowledge that works in everyday life
For improvements to have a lasting impact, they must be understood and put into practice by those who use them.
Training sessions with a hands-on approach provide exactly the knowledge needed for day-to-day work.
Continuous improvement
PLM is not a one-time project, but an ongoing process. Through targeted development, your environment remains efficient, stable, and adaptable.
The future architecture of engineering
PLM and AI Working Together: AI is changing the way engineering teams work—but not by replacing PLM. It builds on it. Three levels illustrate how data, context, and recommendations interact:
Level 1 – The city map
PLM + MBSE – What do we know?
Stores structured knowledge: requirements, CAD data, bills of materials, approvals.
Level 2 – The infrastructure
Knowledge graph – How is everything connected?
Connects data to context—across systems and departments.
Level 3 – The navigation system
AI – What should we do next?
Provides recommendations based on the first two levels.
“AI replaces PLM” is just as wrong as “Google Maps replaces the road network.” A navigation system without roads is useless—AI is only as good as the data it’s based on.
We support companies from the initial assessment all the way to an AI-ready PLM architecture.

Technical expertise meets practical experience
Dr. Wallner Engineering GmbH guides you from the initial assessment all the way to an AI-ready PLM architecture. We create structures in Siemens Designcenter NX & Teamcenter that work reliably today and will form the foundation for AI-powered workflows tomorrow.
Our goal: a database that is so clean and interconnected that nothing falls through the cracks—one on which knowledge graph analysis, interconnected data, and AI recommendations can be reliably built.
