Target audience: For users and key users from design, product management, and manufacturing who want to understand how product variants are managed and configured in Teamcenter. 

Dieses E-Learning vermittelt die grund­le­gen­den Konzepte und Anwendungen des Siemens Teamcenter Pro­dukt­kon­fi­gu­ra­tor. Die Teilnehmenden lernen, wie Pro­dukt­va­ri­a­bi­li­tät in Siemens Teamcenter definiert, ver­wal­tet und über den gesamten Pro­dukt­le­bens­zy­klus hinweg genutzt werden kann.


Anhand praxisnaher Beispiele – etwa aus der Automobilindustrie – wird gezeigt, wie sich Va­ri­an­ten (z.B. Farbe, Ausstattung und An­triebs­art) konsistent abbilden und steuern lassen. Das E-Learning beleuchtet typische He­raus­for­de­rung­en in der Va­ri­an­ten­kon­struk­tion und zeigt, wie der Pro­dukt­kon­fi­gu­ra­tor hilft, Fehl­kon­fi­gu­ra­tio­nen zu vermeiden und eine einheitliche Datenbasis für Entwicklung, Fertigung und Vertrieb zu schaffen.
