Sheet metal design in Siemens NX
Target group: For designers, technicians, and engineers
Duration: 2 days
This training course provides a compact overview of the key functions of Siemens NX sheet metal design, focusing on parametric model creation and the relevant default settings (material, bending parameters, etc.). The course is based on the sketcher, so knowledge of sketching is required. It covers basic shape elements, bending and beveling functions, as well as commands for punching and stabilizing. The integration of classic Siemens NX design features into the sheet metal environment and their influence on unfolding are also discussed. In addition, it is shown how imported models are converted into sheet metal bodies and drawing views are created. Advanced functions can be covered optionally.
The aim of the training is to enable participants to efficiently design sheet metal-compatible models in Siemens NX, correctly develop them, and prepare them for production.
