FEM linear/nonlinear calculations in Siemens NX
Target group: For engineers, designers, and technical product designers
Duration: 5 days
This training course teaches the basics and application of the finite element method (FEM) in Siemens NX for analyzing physical loads on complex models. The focus is on converting individual parts and assemblies into calculation models, setting up with Siemens NX Nastran (pre-processor), and evaluating the results in the post-processor. Alternative solvers such as ANSYS, ABAQUS, or MSC-Nastran can also be used, as the operation remains identical. Building on linear calculation, additional nonlinear FEM methods are covered, including elastic and limited crash simulations.
The aim of the training is to enable participants to use the Siemens NX FEM application confidently.
