PLM Connection 2026 in Seeheim has come to a close, and we can look back on two intense, inspiring, and successful days of the event.
As the largest German-language user conference for Siemens Digital Industries Software, PLM Connection brings together users, experts, partners, and interested parties every year to exchange experiences, share best practices, and learn about new developments in product lifecycle management.
Once again this year, the event was much more than just a conference for us. It served as a meeting place, a platform for knowledge, and a source of inspiration all at once.
Setup, Preparation, and Reunion
There was already a lot of activity at the event venue on Monday. Our booth was set up, the computers for our workshops were configured, and all preparations for the coming days were completed.
Despite the bright sunshine and summery temperatures, there was still plenty of time to catch up with old acquaintances, strike up initial conversations, and exchange ideas with customers, partners, and industry colleagues.
As is tradition, the PLM Connection kicked off with the Come Together on Monday evening—the perfect opportunity to catch up with old contacts, discover new perspectives, and start the event in a relaxed atmosphere.
Practical workshops featuring lively discussion
We were particularly pleased with the great response to our workshops.
The events were very well attended. The participants actively engaged in the sessions, engaged in lively discussions, and asked numerous questions. It is precisely this direct exchange that makes such formats so valuable: everyday challenges can be discussed immediately, and solutions can be developed together.
For us at DRWE, the focus is not solely on imparting knowledge. It is equally important to better understand our clients’ specific needs, questions, and challenges and to develop new ideas together.

Inspiring presentations and fresh ideas
In addition to our own presentations, the conference featured numerous expert talks and case studies from a wide variety of industries.
The projects presented demonstrated how companies are successfully using product lifecycle management, digital engineering, simulation, CAD, and CAM to streamline processes and drive digital transformation.
The wide range of topics and practical examples provided numerous new ideas and exciting food for thought for future projects.
Personal interaction remains irreplaceable
As valuable as expert talks and presentations may be, the most important insights often emerge between sessions.
The conversations at the booth, during breaks, and at the evening event provided numerous insights into current challenges, future developments, and new practical requirements.
It is precisely this personal interaction that makes events like the PLM Connection so special and valuable.
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all participants, customers, partners, and organizers for the many interesting conversations and inspiring encounters.
We're already looking forward to the next PLM Connection.
